I was tended to by the practice nurse who as always was very caring - (as they all are) and was ready to listen to my anxieties, and really makes me feel better.
Everyone at the practice is always ready to listen and help.
Each doctor I have been to have been warm and welcoming.
Phone to call in can take a while to get through.
Waited an hour being told I was next up. Almost had to leave without being seen because I had my baby in childcare. General lack of care, concern, or respect for my time.
Dear Patient Thank you for your valuable comments - I am very sorry that you have experienced exceptionally long waiting times when you are in the surgery and thank you for bringing the matter to my attention, I will be discussing this matter with our clinical team, with a view to addressing any time management issues which may be at the route of this problem. However I hope that you can appreciate that despite giving a guide time of 10 minutes per appointment there will be occasions when a patient’s needs require much longer. This cannot always be anticipated and therefore will have an impact on other patients and for this we apologise. If you have been waiting 30 minutes or more, please approach a member of the reception team who will be able to update you about the delay and if possible offer you an alternative appointment. I have no problems with the care here. The only problem is getting an appointment.
Dear Patient Thank you for your valuable feedback about the service we provide. I am very disappointed that you are experiencing problems in obtaining an appointment. We offer a vast range of appointments such as: Bookable in advance and on the day. We also offer a call back system where you will be contacted by a doctor on the same day who will invite you in to be seen if this is necessary. We recently introduced an on line booking service, which you may find more suitable. I hope this information is helpful but if you continue to experience difficulties in accessing our service please let us know as we are continually reviewing appointment system and would like to know how this very important aspect of our service could be improved.
